Kim Lewis Jewellery Design

My creative practice is based upon jewellery and body adornment. Ideas are drawn from an emotional response to the aspects of human experiences, what it is to be human and the emotional factors of our existence. My ideas are largely drawn from past experiences and so my own recollections of growing up are a major factor in my work including the environment of my childhood and being surrounded by natural, serene surroundings. A busy summer...

What with 2 jobs and commissioned pieces popping up everywhere, I think it's safe to say my summer has been pretty manic! Although I am very excited to get back to university in September and start my final year project. I already have a rough idea of what I want to do (kind of a continuation on a topic I have looked at before but would like to in more detail.) More to come.
